CREW

Stacy Sinclair, Crew

Stacy learned to race by taking her house, a Kelly Peterson - 44, on the Marina del Rey to Puerta Vallarta Race (2009). On the return trip, she decided she wanted to do more cruising and racing. She started doing boat deliveries and racing on boats in Santa Monica Bay, finding Wolfhound in 2013. She is a Principal Race Officer and does both trim and bow on Wolfhound.

Jamie Myer, Captain

Jamie was introduced to sailing as a teen during summer camp and fell in love. He purchased a 1947 Thistle, which he restored and campaigned on the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay through high school. He refined his skills at Connecticut College before moving to Los Angeles where he studied Architecture. There he discovered saltwater and keel boats. Jamie is the Area B (Marina del Rey) Board Chairman for PHRF SoCal. He has been campaigning Wolfhound since he purchased her five years ago.

Steven Schmitz, Crew

Steven learned to sail with his wife aboard a 42' cruiser. After learning the basics, he decided it was time to apply his engineering background to the art of racing. His background in designing rockets and flying aircraft come in handy when looking to optimize speed and overcome the challenges only found at sea aboard a racing yacht. Steven does bow on Wolfhound.

Jennie Santoro, Crew

Jennie found sailing while living in San Diego and began racing on a J27 in 2012. Work brought her to Los Angeles in 2014, and her downtown loft came with a sailing neighbor who introduced her to Wolfhound over Long Beach Race Week. Jennie is master of the pit, coordinating all that happens between bow and stern.

Deidre Keeves, Crew

Deidre's family are all sailors, but wisely, they all race on separate boats. She has her own cruising boat, which she and her family enjoy, but breaks out aboard Wolfhound where she does pit, runners and trim.

Daina Bandziulis, Crew

Daina is an accomplished Martin racer who just joined Wolfhound. She brings energy, bacon buns, and a McGiver attitude to every task. Daina does runners and trim.

Rita Abraham, Crew

Rita started sailing and racing on Bravura, a Farr44 in 2014, joining a J80 as their trimmer for 3 years. She now joins Wolfhound doing trim and runners.

Casey Schilling, Crew

Casey Schilling grew up sailing Sabots and Santana 20s at Balboa Yacht Club and skippered team USA for the 2006 Youth International Match Racing Regatta in New Zealand. After crossing the finish line of the 2013 Transpacific Race he married his wife in Hawaii. Casey always stays calm and smiling in the stress of racing and has been awarding the sportsmanship award at four sailing championships. When not designing sensor systems for rockets, he’s  calling tactics and trimming on Wolfhound.
